A second man has been charged after a double murder.

Besnik Berisha, 42, of Martock Gardens, Friern Barnet, was charged on Wednesday (December 25) with two counts of murder.

A 30-year-old man with stab wounds died in a car boot around Scratchwood Park, Barnet Bypass on December 19, and Hertfordshire Constabulary found the body of a 35-year-old man with stab wounds five miles away in Hogg Lane near Elstree Aerodrome a day later on December 20.

The Metropolitan Police said it was linking both incidents.

Berisha was arrested on Monday (December 23) and charged on Christmas Day.

He is due to appear in custody at Willesden Magistrates’ Court today (December 26).

Another man, Kaziku Tuwisana, 31, of no fixed address, was arrested in Barnet on December 19.

Tuwisana was charged with two counts of murder on December 23. He appeared at Brent Magistrates’ Court on the same day.
