An appeal has been made to find a ring belonging to a late actor.
Tony Britton, who passed away earlier this week, owned a signet ring which his son Jasper says “went missing” in Watford General Hospital earlier this year.
In a tweet, he said: “Friends. The signet ring that Tony Britton is wearing “went missing” in Watford General in the spring.
“I only discovered this yesterday. It isn’t a great pic of the ring but it’s engraved with TB and the drama masks. I’ll buy it back no questions asked. Please RT.”

He continued: "It’s a long shot about the ring, I know, but it holds such value to the family. He wore it in everything he did. Unbearable loss."
Britton, who died aged 95, was best known for starring in BBC sitcom Don't Wait Up alongside Nigel Havers in the 1980s.
His daughter Fern confirmed on twitter he died on Sunday morning.
