Only one Senior Cup or Division One game was able to go ahead after Saturday's West Herts League schedule was ravaged by poor weather conditions.
The match that was played saw Hemel Hempstead Rovers continue their winning start to the season with a 4-0 victory at The Engineer Harpenden in Pool B of the Senior Cup.
In wet and blustery conditions, Rovers adapted the better, taking an early lead through Marcus Tower after he was played through on goal by Tom Read.
The away side maintained their dominance with a second goal later in the half. Luke Hewitt’s free-kick found Rhys Stonebank unmarked and he fired in past the Engineer keeper.
The hosts responded well and but for some outstanding saves from Rovers stopper Callum Woods they might have had a route back into the contest.
After the break, Karl Davidson’s effort added a third for Rovers who controlled proceedings in the second period.
They saved their best goal until last when a flowing team move resulted in Charlie Rance’s cutback being finished off by Asher Alleyn.
