Police are investigating a burglary which took place in the early morning while people were asleep upstairs.
Hertfordshire Constabulary officers are investigating a burglary that happened in Gallows Hill Lane, Abbots Langley on Saturday (August 10).
A family, including a 15-week-old baby, were asleep between 2am and 8am, when a burglar managed to get into their home.
They stole a set of car keys, a handbag, a purse and their car.
The family became aware of the situation once they had woken up, surprised that their Ring doorbell security system did not detect the offender.
A spokesman from Hertfordshire Constabulary said: “Between 2am and 8am, offender(s) gained access to a property in Gallows Hill Lane and stole items including a handbag, purse and set of car keys. A black Audi RS3 was then taken from the driveway.”
Witnesses and anyone with information can contact the police non-emergency number 101, quoting crime number 41/72478/19.
