An Enfield artist and musician with autism is launching his new album.

Patrick Samuel’s second album, Distant Star, which features music and songs he wrote and produced, will be released on August 16. On the album, Patrick plays a total of eight instruments including acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass guitar, flute and violin. His songs explore his experience with autism through a hybrid of electronica and post-punk.

To support the album, he is launching his eighth solo exhibition on Friday, August 23, at Starfish & Coffee in Enfield, which will include paintings created as a visual companion to his songs.

In October he will be returning to the Dugdale Centre for the launch of his ninth solo exhibition, where he will perform a selection of songs from the album for the first time.
