A man convicted of sexual assaults against women in Tottenham will be sentenced today.
Mentesnot Cheru, 29, of Winchelsea Road, Tottenham, pleaded guilty to two offences of sexual assault of a female on Thursday (June 27) at Highbury Corner Magistrates Court.
The offences occurred on April 4 2019 in Clyde Road and Phillip Lane.
Joshua Donka, a member of the public that came to the aid of one of the females being attacked, filmed Cheru using a mobile telephone.
Footage was released by police on April 25 2019.
Cheru also pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.
He will appear at Wood Green Crown Court this afternoon.
Detective Inspector Paul Ridley of the North Area Command Unit will be present at the court for sentencing as well as Mr Donka.
