There were jubilant scenes across the capital last night as Algerian fans took to the streets to celebrate their country reaching the African Cup of Nations final.
Streets in Walthamstow, Finsbury Park, and Southwark came alive last night after Algeria winger Riyad Mahrez struck at the death with a free-kick to beat Nigeria 2-1.
Fireworks were let off while supports danced and chanted through the night including in Hoe Street, Walthamstow.

In Blackstock Road, Finsbury Park, celebrations got a little out of hand when fireworks began exploding in the street, while a police car was damaged after being jumped on.
Some neighbours complained about the noise, with the police helicopter also hovering while the wild scenes unfolded on the ground.
