Victims of hate crime are being urged to come forward and report the crime.

A community group, Communities Against Hate Crime, based in Cranbrook Road, Redbridge, has a team of volunteers who are trained to provide advice and take up cases with appropriate agencies and authorities.

The hate crime and advocacy officer is available every fortnight on Wednesdays from 12pm to 2pm at Enfield Race Equality Council at Community House in Enfield.

There are dedicated hate crime advice and advocacy officers in Redbridge, Barking and Dagenham, Newham, Enfield and Waltham Forest.
