Two men in their 20s have been shot.
Met Police were called to Francis Road in Leyton at 6.48pm yesterday, April 7, to reports that gunshots had been heard.
The men, believed to be in their 20s, had both suffered gunshot wounds.
Both were taken to a London hospital for treatment.
Their injuries are not believed to be life changing or life threatening.
Police cordons are in place in Francis Road and Tyndall Road in Leyton.
At this stage, no arrests have been made.
Police enquiries continue.
The double shooting in Leyton has followed the murder of a woman in Enfield in a day of horror on the streets of London.
