Music lovers are in for a treat this weekend when a Foo Fighters tribute band comes to the Black Barn on Saturday, March 9.

The Foo Fighterz are fast becoming recognised as the UK’s premier Foo Fighters tribute delivering a true representation of the power and energy you come to expect from the Foo Fighters themselves.

The five-piece band have travelled the UK extensively playing at a number of iconic venues, not least the Isle of Wight festival where they performed last year before a 3,500-capacity audience.

It all started for the band when founder Toby Sleight bought a guitar similar to the one used by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl.

Initially Toby, a musician since he was 10, hung the instrument on his wall at home as a shrine to Grohl but took it down to have an informal jam session with a friend.

The rest, as they say, is history.

“What we try to do is emulate the energy and sound of watching the Foo Fighters live,” says Toby. “We can’t wait to come to the Black Barn.”

Tickets are £10 available on the night or from www.livestockuk.com
