A double-decker Google Bus stopped over to offer free advice and training sessions in all things digital.
Enfield was treated to a visit from the Google Digital Garage initiative, where trained specialists gave sessions on launching a business online, marketing, how to use social media platforms, online security and other advice on helping a business flourish online.
The free skills training and coaching are designed to improve the digital skills of businesses and individuals.
Cllr Nesil Caliskan, council leader, and director of property and economy, Mark Bradbury, hopped on the bus to learn how the Digital Garage can benefit Enfield’s businesses.
Cllr Caliskan said: “Enfield Council is committed to supporting our town centres, businesses and individuals to create vibrant places to live and work.
"We also want to help develop a competitive local economy.
"If businesses can boost their online presence, they will get more customers and clients through the door which is why Google’s training has been invaluable.
"I look forward to further similar events with Google and other partners that will help people’s online skills grow and to help place Enfield’s businesses firmly on the digital map.”
