A post office targeted by ram raiders will officially reopen tomorrow.
The branch in Coppice Row, Theydon Bois, temporarily closed last October after thieves attempted to ram raid the Tesco Express’ ATM with a digger. The Tesco Express was also closed following the raid.
While the post office is reopening, the Tesco Express is not yet set to do so.
Six anti-ram-raid bollards are being sought for the new ATM while the interior of the shop is being fitted out.
Damien Haydock, Post Office multiples account executive, said: “We are delighted to be able to restore Post Office services to Theydon Bois. We know how much the community has missed this Post Office.”
The post office will open its doors at 9am.
