Two teenagers have been arrested over the murder of a man.

Police were called at around 1.20am, by the London Ambulance Service to a report of a stabbing in Albert Place, Tottenham.

Officers found a 25-year-old man with stab injuries.

He was taken to an east London hospital where he was pronounced dead at 2.13am.

Enquiries are underway to trace and notify his next of kin.

Although police believe they know who the victim is, formal identification has not taken place.

A post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

Police arrested a 15-year-old boy and a 16-year-old boy in suspicion of murder on Sunday.

They were held in custody at north London police stations for questioning.
