A mobile phone shop and a kebab joint remain closed and sealed off two days after a fire.
Around 70 firefighters battled the blaze at Hello Mobile in Walthamstow High Street in the early hours of Tuesday morning. The store was completely destroyed.
Three adults and four children escaped the burning building, which has flats above, before crews arrived.
Two of the women were treated for smoke inhalation and taken to hospital.
The fire is believed to have spread next door to Best Kebab where collapsed foam ceiling tiles can be seen scattered across tables and chairs.
Shopkeepers in the area said by the time they arrived for work on Tuesday morning, the incident was under control.
Ten fire engines from Waltham Forest, Leyton, Leytonstone, Tottenham, Homerton and surrounding stations attended.
The London Fire Brigade was called shortly after 5am and the fire was under control before 8am.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
