Emergency repairs are causing chaos for commuters this morning.
Temporary lights have been installed in Watling Street, close to the junction of Theobald Street, in Radlett.
This morning, drivers were stuck in tailbacks stretching all the way back to Park Street, while there were also delays on Shenley Hill and Theobald Street into Radlett.
There are still delays between Harper Lane and Aldenham Avenue along Watling Street.

Affinity Water is repairing a water main in the road.
Cllr Caroline Clapper said: “Affinity Water has had to carry out emergency works along Watling Street this morning and they are operating multi-way signals. Hopefully it will be fixed as soon as possible but the company is ware of the impact is has had on the local network.”
