Good morning on this slightly miserably Monday. Here are some things to keep in mind as you set off for the day.

Traffic

In Barnet there is a signal failure on Station Road at Lyonsdown Road, with the lights near The Railway Tavern not working. This has been ongoing and causing delays since Thursday afternoon.

In Wembley the High Road at Napier Road is partially blocked due to emergency repairs. Restrictions are in place while emergency gas main work takes place opposite the church, between the police station and Wembley Central railway station. The works have been ongoing since Sunday afternoon.

In Chalk Farm Baynes Street is closed between St Pancras Way and Royal College Street due to a burst water main. The road has been closed since Saturday morning. There is a detour in operation which affects the 274 bus.

There is traffic on the North Circular, but nothing major.

The M25 conversely, is running very well.

Weather

Summer is dead, autumn is here. A thick cloud of misty rain will hang over the capital into the afternoon. Temperatures will rise to the high teens and banish the bulk of the sogginess later on.

Tube

There is a good service running on all lines.
