Man in critical condition after being hit by car yesterday afternoon
A man is critically ill in hospital after being hit by a car.
Police were called at around 3pm yesterday afternoon with reports of a car in collision with a pedestrian in Chase Side in Enfield.
The London Ambulance Service and police attended the scene to find a 28-year-old man “critically” injured. He was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment and his family have been informed.
A police cordon remains in place at Chase Side and detectives from the Roads and Transport Policing Command are conducting enquiries.
The driver of the car stopped at the scene and there have been no arrests.
