A micropub which has no slot machines, televisions and only serves real ale has won an award.
The Little Green Dragon, in Green Lanes, Winchmore Hill, has been voted Enfield and Barnet Pub of the Year by the local branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA).
Enfield residents Richard Reeve and Sujal Zaveri opened the Little Green Dragon Ale House in a former hairdressers in 2017 in reaction to the closure of the nearby Green Dragon pub. The "back to basics" pub mainly serves real ales, has no TV screens or slot machines and has become a popular local venue for a drink and a chat.
The pub will now go forward into the London Pub of the Year Competition against contenders from 12 other CAMRA branches.
