A woman is determined to continue the progress she has made from taking part in the Tottenham Hotspur ‘Shape Up with Spurs’ programme.

The programme helped Jackie Dublin lose weight with exercise and a healthier diet.

Jackie said: “Before I started the ‘Shape Up with Spurs’ programme, I suffered with high cholesterol and was overweight.

“The sessions have helped me to lose weight, maintain a healthier diet and meet people from my local community.

“I have seen a great improvement in my health and I am more determined than ever to continue my journey to be a healthier and fitter individual.”

Tottenham Hotspur’s Argentinian attacker Erik Lamela went to a programme exercise class and was involved in an interactive chat on healthy eating and nutrition.

Eric said: “It has been brilliant to see how Tottenham Hotspur’s Foundation is supporting local people to help improve their health and wellbeing.

“As a professional footballer, keeping fit and healthy is an everyday part of my life, but it’s not easy for everyone.

“I am pleased that I got the opportunity to see first-hand the work that the club is doing in the local area to help people improve their physical and mental health.”

‘Shape Up with Spurs’ is geared towards improving the physical and mental health of hard to reach people living in Tottenham.

The programme is one of a number of courses at Tottenham Hotspur Foundation focussing on preventative, rehabilitation and improvement measures.
