More than 20 cars were damaged over just four days.
Police are appealing for witnesses after the recent spate in Harpenden.
The vehicles were damaged between December 31 and January 3 in the Southdown area of the town.
The affected roads are Southdown Road, Gorselands, Queens Road, St John's Court, St John's Road, and Station Road.
In all, 24 cars were tampered with, with damage including slashed tyres, scratched bodywork, and smashed lights.
Most of the cars were damaged between 11pm on New Years Day and 6am the following morning.
