In response to recent terror attacks and the rise of Islamophobic hate crimes in London, Christians and Muslims from Croydon - along with other faiths - Got together for a Friendship dinner at Croydon Minster on 17th August.
The event, Friendship First, was organised by Croydon Minster and The Lighthouse Educational Society.
It was an evening of sharing food, art, conversation and music to promote better understanding and cooperation between Christians and Muslims.
The guest speaker was Dr Hassan Horkuc who spoke about the importance of dialogue.
The Mayor was also present.
