A CAMPAIGN group hope to give businesses a boost at an event next Saturday.
Better Streets for Enfield will meet at 12.45pm on March 18 at Winchmore Hill to show their support to residents and shops in the area.
The symbolic event is to encourage customers keep engaging with businesses in the area while the work to Cycle Enfield is ongoing.
The group's members hope their optimistic approach bears good results.
Better Streets for Enfield Clare Rogers says: “We're aware that Save Our Green Lanes has complained that the roadworks are crippling businesses.
“We think that SOGL complaints and posters are counterproductive, putting off customers by painting an unpleasant picture of the high street and causing unnecessary worry to business owners.
“We hope to bring some cheer, some hope for the future, and some hard cash.”
