Weather
It is going to be slightly colder than usual this morning in east London. There is rain due in the morning, with cloud and temperature highs of 14 degrees later on.
Tube
7.45am
There is no service between Edmonton Green and Cheshunt while TfL fix a signal failure at Clapton.
Minor delays between Liverpool Street and Chingford.
Highbury and Islington Underground is closed due to a faulty escalator - Victoria Line services from Walthamstow are not stopping at this station.
Abellio Greater Anglia train services are also being diverted via Stratford and Seven Sisters between Liverpool Street and Tottenham Hale due to a signalling problem at Clapton. London Underground are accepting tickets for reasonable routes and stations between Hackney Downs and Tottenham Hale will not be served.
There is a good service on all other London Underground and Overground lines.
Travel
7.55am
There is heavy traffic and one lane blocked on the A406 North Circular westbound between Waterworks Corner (Woodford) and the Crooked Billet Underpass (Walthamstow).
Congestion tailing back to Charlie Brown's Roundabout (South Woodford).
One lane is blocked and there are long delays due to accident on the A13 into town before A406 North Circular Road (Beckton Roundabout), congestion on the A13 to Ferry Lane (Rainham). A car and a van are in lane three, adding to queues back through Dagenham.
There are still temporary traffic lights and roadworks on the A113 Abridge Road at the A1168 Chigwell Lane junction in Woodford Bridge.
Traffic is heavy on the M11 between Junction 4 at South Woodford and Junction 5 at Loughton.
Wellesley Road in Wanstead is closed at the junction with Hermon Hill until Friday.
