An Enfield care home has celebrated its fortieth anniversary.
Arnold House first opened its doors in 1976, and currently looks after 21 disabled people.
The home held an anniversary party, which included a volunteer thank you ceremony, plus cake stalls and a tombola.
Four committed volunteers - Paul Wharton, Pauline Cullen, Ethel Reilly and Billy Over - were honoured with a certificate in the ceremony were.
Home manager Nooranah Islam said: “It was an absolute delight to welcome previous staff and family members of people who lived at Arnold House.
“We took the opportunity to say thank you to our volunteers, whose contribution is vital in every aspect of our work.”
