Green-fingered primary school pupils have been helping to plant bulbs in an open space to help revamp the area.
Children from Wilbury Primary School, in Wilbury Way, Edmonton have been helping redecorate Wilbury open space.
A playground on the land is currently disused and the site has been used for fly-tipping and by drug users.
However, Friends of Weir Hall Park, are helping to reform the open space and it is set to gain a new playground.
Marc Ellul, of Friends of Weir Hall Park, said: “The bulbs were paid for by the residence priority funds along with some goal posts for the space and it’s so important that local children are involved in planting up their local space which helps them take ownership of it.”
