An opticians are helping people keep their eyes on the road as part of national road safety week.
Palmers Green specsavers, in Green Lanes, will be handing out 200 high visibility vests to local children throughout the week.
Jaswinder Singh Nagra, store director of the shop, said: “As optical experts, it’s our job to raise awareness of the links between road safety and vision during Road Safety Week.
“Not only are we calling on pedestrians to make themselves visible to drivers, but on drivers and cyclists to make sure their eyes are road-safe. We encourage children to help us get the message out to the community by stopping by and collecting their vests from store.”
The high visibility vests for children ages between seven and 11.
