A care home has raised almost £1,000 at its annual summer fete.
Azalea Court, in Bush Hill Park, welcomed guests to take part in their fun day which included a variety of stalls, a raffle, a guess the weight of the cake competition and beat the goalie tournament.
The money will go towards the residents’ fund which is used to provide entertainment at the care home.
A spokeswoman for Azalea Court said: “Our fete was a fantastic success and we are delighted to have raised so much money which will be put to great use for our residents.
“We were very pleased to welcome the Mayor and all our visitors and everyone had a great time. We can’t wait to do it all again next year.”
The care home has also held a Mad Hatter themed tea party for national care home open day and is also planning on holding more events in the run up to Christmas.
