A charity is calling for volunteers to help mentor children with social difficulties.
Chance UK helps primary school pupils referred to the charity progress in their education.
The volunteers will help to raise the children's self esteem, boost confidence and improve learning skills during once a week session for one year.
Kevin Morrish, programme manager for Enfield, said: “We desperately need loads more volunteers to work with children in Enfield. Schools are finding out about us, and the effectiveness of our programme, so more and more are referring children.”
The charity will hold an information evening at Enfield town hall on August 28.
