A former mayor will be leading a march today in protest against the kidnapping of schoolgirls in Nigeria.
Kate Anolue, Mayor of London in 2013, is hoping to get people from the area to join her and march against the kidnapping.
The protest will begin at St Edmunds Church in Hertford Road in Edmonton, and will finish in Wood Green.
Former ward councillor for Upper Edmonton, will start the walk at 12.45pm.
The march is against militia group Boko Haram, which abducted more than 200 girls as they were sitting their exams in Nigeria, on April 15.
