Police carried out a series of raids across north London this morning as part of what the Metropolitan Police say is a major crackdown on crime.
Officers executed search and arrest warrants and carried out licensing enforcement as well as performing car checks and patrols under its ‘Big Wing’ operation.
Officers will be out in Enfield throughout the day, carrying out street surgeries and giving crime prevention advice as well as further raids and planned arrests.
The force is expected to issue details of arrests made in the borough later today.
