A new centre to train the capital’s dentists is due to be unveiled at Northwick Park Hospital.
The Northwick Park Dental Education Centre, based at the hospital in Watford Road, will open next week with state-of-the-art technology to help budding dentists learn new skills and improve care.
The centre boasts 15 dummy heads, training rooms for emergency preparation and lecture rooms and aims to drive up standards among London’s dentists.
Dean of postgraduate dentistry, Elizabeth Jones said: “This is an exciting initiative for north west London and I am delighted it has come to fruition.
“It will give dentists and dental care professionals a state-of-the-art environment in which to learn new skills and practice what to do in emergency situations, among other things.”
