Our sister, Mary, daughter of the late Charles and Anna Ngulu Carayol of 12, Hagan St. now Daniel Goddard St, Banjul, The Gambia, was the eldest of 11 siblings. She grew up in an honourable, respectable, large and loving family in the Gambia before moving to London, UK with her family.
Since hearing the sad news of her passing on January 5, it has been very difficult for her children, siblings, relatives, friends and acquaintances. Our hearts are heavy but we take comfort that Mary has gone to The House of the Lord, to take her rest, with her dearly beloved parents and siblings that have gone before her.
Our beautiful sister, crowned Miss Gambia and Miss Senegambia 1969, you were a natural beauty inside and out. You were caring, kind, compassionate, loving, and hospitable. Family in London, UK, The Gambia and the diaspora celebrate your accomplishments as a talented and passionate educationist. We salute you for your dedication to service. We look forward to welcoming you back home to the Gambia to Celebrate Your Life.
