SWEET BRIAR GROVE N9 -TEMPORARY RESTRICTION OF TRAFFIC

1. NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that in order to facilitate essential utility works on Sweet Briar Grove, N9, the Council of the London Borough of Enfield propose to make Enfield (Sweet Briar Grove, N9) (Temporary Restriction of Traffic) Order 2022 under section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.



2. The effect of the Order would be to prohibit traffic from entering or proceeding on Sweet Briar Grove, N9;



(i) from a point south of the junction with Nothern Avenue for a distance of 50m.



(ii) from a point south of the junction with Central Avenue for a distance of 50m.



3. The prohibitions referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to works vehicles or, if the works allow, to police or emergency services vehicles.



4. The prohibitions would come into operation on 14 March and would continue in force for 18 days or until works are completed. Access would be maintained for Business's and residents only as far as the works allow.



5. Whilst the prohibitions are in operation the diversion route would be via;



(i) Central Avenue, Haselbury Road, Northern Avenue and vice versa.



(ii) Central Avneue, Haselbury Road, Chalfont Road and vice versa.
