French fashion house Givenchy will provide Madonna's clothes for her forthcoming "Sticky and Sweet" world tour.
A spokeswoman said they had made the pop star two ensembles, one to be worn during the concerts' opening number.
It was not clear if other designers will also dress the star for the tour.
Madonna has a long history of working with French designers. Frenchman Jean-Paul Gaultier was behind the pointy cone bras that were the hallmarks of the 1990 "Blonde Ambition" tour.
Givenchy's design team is headed by an Italian, Riccardo Tisci. He is know for his gothic-influenced pieces and use of dark fabrics.
