Spurs midfielder Jermaine Jenas has put put pen to paper on a one-month loan switch to his former club Nottingham Forest.

The 29-year-old has endured a torrid couple of seasons at Tottenham where he has fallen down the pecking order and struggled to get first team action.

Jenas came through the ranks at Forest before joining Newcastle in 2002 for £5m. He then moved to White Hart Lane for £7m in August 2005.

The last league game Jenas started for Spurs was in April 2011.

The former England international is expected to go straight into the squad for this weekend's clash against local rivals Derby.
