Seven Tottenham stars were involved in the international action last night with all of them given starting places for their countries.
Jermain Defoe played 90 minutes for England and was unfortunate to have a superb strike ruled out in the first half for a push.
Frank Lampard's penalty rescued a point for the Three Lions as they drew 1-1 with Ukraine.
Right back Kyle Walker and midfielder Jake Livermore were both on the bench.
Hugo Lloris was named captain for France for their 3-1 victory over Belarus.
The goalkeeper was named man-of-the-match after a string of impressive saves including one from a penalty.
Gareth Bale's stunning free-kick was one of the only highlights as Wales lost 6-1 to Montenegro.
Both Jan Vertonghen and Mousa Dembele played for Belgium who came back from behind to draw with Croatia 1-1.
Clint Dempsey played 90 minutes for the USA as they moved back to the top of their CONCACAF qualifying group with a 1-0 win against Jamaica.
Gylfi Sigurdsson started for Iceland who failed to continue their winning start against Norway, losing 1-0 to Cyprus.
