Tottenham's Sebastien Bassong on the verge of reuniting with Chris Hughton at Norwich

Bassong set to join Canaries Bassong set to join Canaries

Sebastien Bassong is reportedly about to leave Tottenham today to join newly-promoted Norwich, according to Sky Sports News.

The central-defender joined Spurs in 2009 from Newcastle where he was managed by current Norwich boss Chris Hughton.

Despite scoring a winning goal on his debut against Liverpool, Bassong has failed to have an impact at White Hart Lane and this year spent half of the season at Wolverhampton Wanderers where he made nine appearances.

Bassong currently finds himself behind Jan Vertonghen, Younes Kaboul, William Gallas, Michael Dawson and Steven Caulker in the Spurs squad.

A move to the Canaries could reignite his career after three frustrating seasons at White Hart Lane.
