Tottenham Hotspur's Scott Parker in England side to face Italy at Euro 2012

Scott Parker will be hoping to help England to a Euro 2012 semi-final showdown with Germany after again being named in the starting XI for the last-eight clash with Italy.

The Spurs midfielder has started every game of the tournament in the centre of the park alongside Steven Gerrard as Roy Hodgson, perhaps not surprisingly, has chosen to name an unchanged side from the one that defeated Ukraine 1-0.

That victory, combined with France's loss to Sweden, allowed England to win their group and they will now be aiming to secure a place in Thursday's semi-final, with holders and World champions Spain or Portugal awaiting the victors.
