FORMER Spurs forward Fredi Kanoute has hinted he may return to England after admitting several clubs from Spain and the Premier League had contacted him.
Kanoute struggled to make a big impact at White Hart Lane during his two-year spell with the club, scoring just 14 goals in 60 appearances.
But he has been a revelation at current club Seville, being voted the African Player of the Year last year, and has scored 37 goals for the team in three years.
Kanoute, 30, has not ruled out a move back to these shores, after revealing he may be tempted to leave Seville.
"My contract runs until 2010," Kanoute told skysports.com.
"Let's see what the club think about it.
"I am happy with my situation at the club, but in football you can never say never. If the club wants to sell, you have to look elsewhere.
"I have had contact from some teams in England, Spain and two other giants of European football, so let's wait and see for my next destination."
Asked whether he might team up with former boss Juande Ramos and old club Spurs, he joked: "I don't know about that."
