Tottenham Hotspur pair Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane have missed out on the Premier League’s Manager of the Month and Player of the Month awards to Leicester City’s Claudio Ranieri and Jamie Vardy.

Striker Vardy retains the Player of the Month award for November after continuing a staggering run of form which saw him score in 11 consecutive Premier League fixtures – breaking former Manchester United striker Ruud van Nistelrooy’s record.

The 29-year-old’s form has been central to the Foxes’ own impressive run. Italian boss Ranieri oversaw an unbeaten November with wins over Watford, Newcastle United and a draw with Manchester United – against whom Vardy set his record.

Pochettino had also been up against Liverpool’s Jurgen Klopp and Everton’s Roberto Martinez.

Meanwhile, Kane went head-to-head with Watford’s Troy Deeney, Everton duo Ross Barkley and Romelu Lukaku and Liverpool’s Dejan Lovren.
