Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy reportedly wants Emmanuel Adebayor out of the club in summer and has lined up Crystal Palace’s Yannick Bolasie as his replacement.

Bolasie has a price of £20 million on his head and Spurs are among a number of clubs interested in signing the 25-year-old, according to the Daily Mirror.

The DR Congo attacker has scored four goals in 31 games for the Eagles this season and his contract runs until 2017.

But Spurs, Liverpool and Arsenal are all thought to be keeping tabs on him.

Bolasie has been an important member of Palace’s revival under Alan Pardew but the former Plymouth Argyle man is understood to be keen to depart for another London club.

And it looks set to be a costly summer for Levy, as he will have to pay £2.5m to push Adebayor out of the club, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The striker has been told he is free to leave having made just one appearance since being denied a January loan move to West Ham United.

Adebayor has one year remaining on his £100,000-a-week contract and the Spurs chairman has said he will pay half the striker’s salary for a year just to get him out.

And Spurs may well look to the Hammers, who offered that amount in January, or Aston Villa, to reunite Adebayor with former boss Tim Sherwood.

The Togo international has made just one appearance since January, as a 79th-minute substitute against Manchester United.

The striker’s 14 goals last season made him Tottenham’s top scorer as he looked to reignite his Spurs career.
