Wantaway Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Etienne Capoue is wanted by West Bromwich Albion head coach Tony Pulis, according to Sky Sports News.
Capoue, 26, last started a game three months ago and has become increasingly frustrated at his lack of game time after falling behind Ryan Mason and Benjamin Stambouli. But it appears as though the midfielder has rejected a loan move to the Baggies.
Aston Villa, Stoke City and Leicester City are all in the hunt to sign the Frenchman, who cost Spurs £9 million when he was signed 18 months ago by then-boss Andre Villas-Boas.
The potential stumbling block would be Capoue’s wage demands, although the sale of the Baggies' record signing Brown Ideye could help iron out that crease.
