Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane has signed a new five-and-a-half year contract to remain at White Hart Lane until the summer of 2020.

The 21-year-old reached the 20-goal barrier with two goals in Saturday's 3-0 win at West Bromwich Albion.

Kane has scored ten Premier League goals this term after his brace at The Hawthorns, with a further ten goals coming in the League Cup and Europa League.

The academy graduate made his league debut for Spurs in August 2012 before embarking on a disappointing loan spell with top-flight rivals Norwich City, for whom he made just one league start.

A switch to the Championship and Leicester City saw Kane's playing time enhanced in the second half of the season, with the England Under-21 cap scoring twice in 14 outings before returning to White Hart Lane.

Kane had previously caught the eye in the Championship with Millwall, scoring seven times in 19 starts for the Lions, as well netting five in 18 starts for League One Leyton Orient during the 2010/11 season.

Three goals in just six starts under Tim Sherwood towards the end of the 2013/14 season preceded Kane's impressive return this season, with his ten league strikes making him the second-highest scoring Englishman in the Premier League to Charlie Austin (13 goals).
