New Tottenham Hotspur coach Mauricio Pochettino will make Swansea City's Ben Davies his first signing, according to the Daily Mirror.

Davies, 21, has dislodged Neil Taylor in south Wales to make himself the Swans' first-choice left-back in the last two seasons.

A full Welsh international, it is understood Spurs have seen an £8m offer for Neath-born Davies accepted by the Swansea City hierarchy.

The 5ft11in defender has made 85 first-team appearances for the Swans, scoring three times, and is contracted to the club until 2017.
