Tottenham Hotspur are planning to land Standard Liege’s Belgium striker Michy Batshuayi, according to the Daily Mail.

The forward, 20, has an £8 million buyout clause and has also attracted attention from Arsenal, Everton and Swansea.

Batshuayi has scored 37 goals in 90 appearances after breaking into Liege’s first team in February 2011.

But Spurs chairman Daniel Levy is ready to make a bid for the highly-rated striker, once he confirms a successor to Tim Sherwood, with Argentine Mauricio Pochettino is expected to succeed
