Tottenham forward Harry Kane made a big impact off the bench for England Under-21s, coming on in the second half to help the young Three Lions draw 1-1 with Finland.
Fellow Spurs youngster Tom Carroll started in midfield for England, who opted for a 4-3-3 formation with Carroll allowed license to go forward.
But it was Kane, who came on in midway through the second half as England looked for an equaliser, who made the real impact.
The Spurs striker almost scored immediately after coming on as he latched on to a through ball but his shot was saved.
Moments later, it was then Kane's hard work that set up the equaliser as he muscled through the Finland defence before playing in Wilfried Zaha. Zaha then fired the ball across the area where Saido Berahino applied the finish.
Kane's excellent contribution nearly saw him grab a late winner too as he made space for himself on the edge of the area before unleashing a powerful shot that struck the outside of the post.
England have four points and are third in Group One but have played half as many games as Finland, who top the group on eight points.
