Tottenham Hotspur's former West Ham United midfielder Scott Parker set to join Queens Park Rangers
4:21pm Tuesday 13th August 2013 in Spurs
Spurs midfielder Scott Parker is set to be re-united with Harry Redknapp at Championship side Queens Park Rangers after a £3.5m fee was reportedly agreed.
Redknapp signed the former England midfielder, 32, from West Ham United in 2011 for a fee of £5m and looks set to sign the defensive midfielder once again.
After excelling during his first season at White Hart Lane, Parker has fallen down the pecking order under Andre Villas-Boas following a lengthy spell on the sidelines with injury and the £17m acquisition of Corinthians midfielder Paulinho has further reduced Parker’s first-team opportunities with the north Londoners.
Redknapp confirmed the news to The Daily Telegraph: "We're hopeful of getting Scotty signed soon. He's a great lad and will be a really good signing for us."
Parker will now undergo a medical with the Hoops ahead of his move to Loftus Road.
