Tottenham are confident of finally striking a deal for Porto playmaker Joao Moutinho this summer, according to reports.
The Portugese midfielder is believed to have told coach Vitor Pereira he wants to leave the club at the end of the season and the club have agreed to grant Moutinho his wish.
Spurs came close to signing the 26-year-old last summer after agreeing a £25m fee with Porto but last-minute complications scuppered the deal on deadline day.
Zenit Saint-Petersburg and Barcelona have been attributed with an interest in Moutinho this season but it is Tottenham who head the queue and as long as Spurs qualify for the Champions League it is thought Andre Villas-Boas will finally get his man.
