Tottenham Hotspur forward Harry Kane has signed a new contract that will keep him with the North London club until 2017.
Kane has also agreed a loan deal to join Leicester City until the end of the season.
Leicester are currently fifth in the Championship and the signing will help bolster their squad as they challenge for promotion.
The striker had been on loan at Norwich City from the start of the season until January. However, Kane had limited game time for the club due to a metatarsal injury.
The 19-year-old’s loan period at Carrow Road came to an end when he was recalled to Tottenham to aid with their options in attack.
During his short career he has also completed loan spells with Millwall during 2012 and Leyton Orient in 2011. Kane scored five goals in the 18 appearances he made for the East London club.
Kane gained international recognition at the end of the 2011/12 season representing England Under-19s during the European Championship finals scoring against France and appearing in all four of the games.
