Tottenham’s hopes of securing the services of Yann M’Vila are in doubt as the midfielder looks set for a move to Russia.

Speculation about the French international’s future intensified after Rennes general manager, Pierre Dreossi, publically declared that the midfielder had played his last game for his current employers.

Reports yesterday claimed the 22-year-old will snub English interest to opt for a big money move to Rubin Kazan in a deal worth an estimated £3m a year.
